ALL GONE 2024 is exquisitely adorned with the iconic monogram of the legendary French maison, Au Départ. In the world of haute couture, where tradition seamlessly blends with modernity, Au Départ has long stood as a symbol of timeless sophistication, dream carrier and romance. Founded in 1834, this prestigious house has spent nearly two centuries perfecting the art of leather craftsmanship, carrying dreams of curious minds, captivating the world’s most discerning clientele, such as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, with its flawless balance of heritage and forward-thinking design.
In 2024, Au Départ embarked on a bold new chapter, teaming up with visionary Hiroshi Fujiwara—the creative mastermind behind Fragment—for their debut collaboration. It’s a true honor to contribute to this exciting journey, celebrating their rich legacy by integrating their signature monogram into our book covers.
After all, ALL GONE shares a similar spirit, embodying the craftsmanship of Made in France. Partnering with such an iconic maison, born in Paris, holds profound meaning for me—and for the story of this book.

ALL GONE, The Finest of street culture 2024
"The observation is far from new, yet it lands with a brutal clarity that mirrors the harshness of today’s world: finding reasons to be optimistic has grown increasingly elusive when reflecting on the year just passed and daring to imagine the one ahead.
Book after book, introduction after introduction, this so-called post-pandemic world leaves us more disoriented than ever, making the prospect of a brighter future feel almost out of reach. For years, the crises sweeping across the globe seemed to merely graze the steady rise of our culture—a culture that surged forward, relentless and untouchable, fueled by an energy that defied reason.
But in 2024, for the first time since the birth of this book in 2006, the dam broke. Doubt has seeped in. A pall of gloom and pessimism has spread, draining our culture of its vitality, its brilliance, and its insatiable hunger for greatness. To write these words is painful, but to deny this truth would be a betrayal to those who have stood with us all these years. The reality is unavoidable: like every other facet of society, we are no longer miraculously insulated from the ripple effects of crises and inflation. For many, 2024 has been merciless.
For too long, we thrived under an unspoken mantra—Crisis, what crisis?—buoyed by creativity and drive that seemed inexhaustible. But the wall we thought could never materialize has now risen, stark and immovable. The damage, regrettably, is all too real.
The world’s most consumed culture, embraced and revered by the masses, faced its sharpest slowdown in 2024. The impact was as sudden as it was staggering. For years, a strange paradox held sway: even as the world grew darker, street culture continued to expand and shine. That paradox has now crumbled. A reset is unavoidable, and a return to fundamentals has become the defining challenge of the months and years ahead.
In this moment of reckoning, our scene must draw once more on the essence that defined its roots. In the past, adversity often ignited its most remarkable evolutions. Today, it must recover the ineffable spark that once propelled it forward. No one remains untouchable. Patience, resilience, creativity, and an ambition tempered by sincerity will be essential to rebuild meaningful connections with those who hold this culture close to their hearts.
After years of unbridled growth and limitless expansion, the time has come to champion quality over quantity, originality over repetition. These principles are not optional; they are essential if we are to move past stagnation and rediscover the path to brilliance that captivates a new generation.
This is not an impossible task. But this awakening must be collective. Every player, from the smallest to the most influential, must rise to the occasion, ready to reinvent themselves and contribute to writing the next chapter. While many were forced to abandon ship during this bleak year, others remain brimming with determination, ready to carry the torch forward. There is a new world order to shape, a fresh story to tell, a narrative waiting to be rewritten.
Ironically, 2024 may well have been the pivotal moment our culture needed. Complacency and ease have done it no favors. The collapse of some has sparked renewed vigilance and revitalized energy. The time ahead must awaken imagination, revive dreams, and reignite ambition—not merely to endure, but to thrive, evolve, and leave an indelible mark.
The younger generation has been forewarned, and Mobb Deep said it best: this season, more than ever, will be about Survival of the Fittest.
As for us? We’re diving in headfirst."
